The Z Collection Syrah 2022 earned a place in the Top 10, scoring a superb 94 points in The Prescient Shiraz Report 2023. The Syrah is one of the new wines added to our Z Collection last year under the revamped label.

The Z Collection Syrah comes from our vineyards on South-Westerly facing slopes ranging in altitude from 230-250m above sea level on decomposed granite soils. The grapes were harvested at 23.5 Balling to capture vibrant fruit expression and spice. Fermentation was done in portions consisting of carbonic maceration, submerged cap, and open top with an average of 70% done with whole bunches. The wine was matured for 12 months in 2nd fill 1000 Foudres.
